People often ask what architects do and we like to tell them that our role is to help solve their spatial needs problems. We tell them we can’t do it alone and they are as much a part of the project as we are but we can help where our expertise allows.

We listen and interpret our clients’ specific problems and, from those conceptual discussions, we formulate design solutions to address the targeted issues. We can develop these designs into reality and can help our clients plan for their future projects. This often involves preparing programmes, schedules and outline budgeting at the start. This is then followed by detail design, tender action and on site monitoring of the project until complete. We can act as client liaison throughout any project.

We can produce presentations to interested stakeholders, liaise with Local Authority Planning & Building control departments and administer building contracts.
